JGS Ltd was established in Limassol, Cyprus in January 1984 in order to serve the Marine Industry requirements in respect of supplies and services on a worldwide basis.
 
Over the past 20 years the company has signed representation agreements with some of the most prestigious Companies in the marine world and has also established strategic alliances with many manufacturers, suppliers and service companies capable of satisfying most, if not all the needs of a Ship Owner and/or Manager.
 
JGS Ltd are able to offer clients Lubricants, Paints, Chemicals, Ropes & Wires, Anchors & Chains, Safety Equipment & Services, Communication & Bridge Equipment & Service, Dry-docking & Voyage Repairs as well as Reconditioning/Exchange of heavy engine items such as Pistons, Cylinder Covers, Piston Rods and Valves.
 
The objective of JGS Ltd is to provide a quality service to all customers in a cost effective manner.
 
All staff are expected to adopt an objective of "best practice" in all their work which in turn shall be reflected in the Management System.
 
All management and staff shall be committed to a policy of continual improvement in working practices in order to meet customer expectations in the most cost effective manner possible.

John Gibbon & Sons are able to offer their clients lubricants, paints, chemicals, ropes and wires, anchors and chains, safety and anti-pollution equipment, GMDSS equipment, spare parts to suit electrical and mechanical applications, dry docking and voyage repair facilities, and reconditioning services on a world wide basis.

Over the past 17 years the company has developed a major computer database of contacts and suppliers able to satisfy most if not all of the industry’s needs.

This in addition to the Agency Agreements signed with leading suppliers and service companies.
